THE SHOW IS ON!
Once again, we at Alresford Rotary bring festive cheer by organising our very own local ‘Christmas Song Contest’. This year we want to extend entries not only to singers but also instrumental versions of songs or carols for the festive season.
This will be our Alresford ‘Christmas Got Talent’ contest to find Singers and Musicians that can make either great performances or just provide fun and entertainment value. We would love to have entries from individuals, duets, families, children, school classes, choirs and bands. Entry is open to all residents of Alresford and the surrounding villages.
There will be great prizes to win including fantastic Hampers and Alresford gift vouchers. All proceeds will go to local Alresford Rotary Charitable causes.
How do you enter? All you need to do is:
- Record a video on your phone of you singing or playing your (single) Christmas Song (modern or traditional). Maximum recommended time of 3 minutes.
- Send your recording to us at [email protected] with your full name and postcode. As the file will be huge you will need to do this by WeTransfer, or another file transfer tool of your choice. (to find it type WeTransfer.com into your browser and it should come up). The use of the WeTransfer service is free and you do not need to sign up. If you have any trouble uploading send us an email at [email protected] and we will try to help.
- Finally, although there is no entry fee, we do ask for a minimum £5 donation to Alresford Rotary Charity to complete your submission.
